Epic location, but I miss a foreground for the shot quite much. Also, the CA is rather on the high side - it's clearly visible on the mountain on the left even in this size. Did you shoot RAW?
Thanks for your thoughts. would highlight the grass in the forground help? Is the "high side" good or overdone for you? It was shot in raw with canon 5D mII
I mean that it has a lot of chromatic aberrations - clearly visible on the snow, even in this side. If you use RAW, practically every RAW converter lets you remove CA manually or automatically. This will also increase subjective sharpness on the borders of the image.
ok, now I understood the abreviation I tried to remove this with DPP before going to PS. but it didn't change anything when moving the CA cursor. what could I've done wrong?
I don't know much about DPP and Canon RAW formats, as I use NEF (the RAW file of Nikon). But for Canon and PS, I'd suggest to use Adobe Camera RAW (the latest that your PS version permits). It's a plugin for PS that you can download from Adobe's site for FREE. Yep, freeware! I used to use it before I got Nikon's own converter. It has a specific slider for red-green and blue-yellow lateral CAs. Works great.
